As a result of the hostilities in Ukraine, sanctions against Russia and Belarus have been imposed and continuously reinforced in the European Union and many other countries. Medicinos Bankas closely monitors the situation in Ukraine and responsibly complies with the sanctions in force, therefore we would like to inform you that the execution of payment transactions in the Russian and Belarusian roubles (RUB and BYN) is suspended. 

From 08/04/2022 for corporate clients and from 08/05/2022 for private clients, we are changing the Pricelist of Services and Transactions, as we will no longer provide account servicing and opening of new accounts in RUB and BYN currencies. We recommend that all customers with positive account balances in the above currencies convert to a currency supported by the Bank. 

Also, with the change in the Pricelist, a minimum fee of EUR 50 per month for basic banking services will come into effect for resident corporate customers where at least one of the persons entitled to manage/control the account is a foreign national and/or at least one of the participants/shareholders in the ownership/control structure is a legal entity registered outside the Republic of Lithuania.
