Regarding customer’s status identification
Dear customer,
This is to inform that, pursuant to the provisions of the Law on Personal Income Tax of the Republic of Lithuania, any natural persons who maintain business relationships with Medicinos Bankas UAB (hereinafter – the Bank), must provide the Bank with the information about their country of tax residence and their Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN).
The country of tax residence is the country in which a person is registered as a taxpayer (i. e. a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) has been assigned to him/her). Where the person’s country of tax residence is the Republic of Lithuania, his/her Taxpayer Identification Number is a personal identification number assigned to that person in Lithuania.
Please be reminded that non-resident persons and/or persons whose country of tax residence is other than the Republic of Lithuania, are not regarded as resident persons by Medicinos Bankas UAB. For this reason, customers who are not regarded as resident persons will be subject to fixed price rates set for such non-residents in the Pricelist of Services and Transactions, effective 30 March 2021.
You can update and/or view the information held by the Bank about you via internet bank by clicking the “Settings” icon on the top menu bar and selecting a document form “Client Form” or by visiting a customer service branch office of Medicinos Bankas, UAB.
