The Terms and Conditions for Electronic Services will be updated
Dear clients,
We would like to inform you that, effective July 27, 2026, the Terms and Conditions for Electronic Services will be updated. You can review the new version of the Terms and Conditions for Electronic Services here.
Once these changes take effect, you will be able to log in to the Urbo Bankas mobile application not only using Mobile-ID, Smart-ID, or an SMS code, but also using biometric authentication, such as your fingerprint or facial recognition.
- To start using biometric login, first download the Urbo Bankas mobile application from Google Play or the App Store. If you already have the application installed, please update it to the latest version.
- Log in using your usual authentication method.
- After logging in to the Urbo Bankas mobile application, you will be prompted to enable biometric login. If your device supports biometric authentication and this feature is enabled in your device settings, select "Continue" and verify your identity using your fingerprint or facial recognition. If biometric authentication is not supported or is disabled on your device, you will not be able to enable this feature.
- Once biometric login has been successfully enabled, you will be able to use your biometric data to log in to the application in the future.
Customers who have enabled automatic application updates on their devices will be able to start using the new feature once the application has been updated. It is expected that, for most users, the update will be installed automatically overnight between July 27 and July 28. Otherwise, you can manually update the application by visiting the App Store or Google Play.
We hope that biometric login will make using the application even faster and more convenient.
If you agree to the changes, you are not required to do anything. Please be reminded that, pursuant to paragraphs 11.1 - 11.3 of the Terms of Payment Services, you may object to the changes until 27 July 2026 and terminate the respective service free of charge, i.e., terminate the the Electronic Services.
